本研究观察了蔗糖多酯(SPE)对饲以高胆固醇饲料的大鼠血清胆固醇及人工诱发高胆固醇血症大鼠血清胆固醇水平的影响。结果表明,大鼠自由摄食高胆固醇饲料的同时,每鼠每日口服SPE3g20天,血清胆固醇升高的水平明显低于不给SPE组(P<0.01);人工诱发的高胆固醇血症大鼠,每鼠每日口服SPE2g20天或1g40天,血清胆固醇明显低于治疗前的水平(P<0.05)。停用SPE后,有一定时间的延续效应。
