AcompoundfromHedyotis diffusaWilld.wasisolated bythe columnchromatography onsilica gel andelucidated as 2,6-dihydroxy-3-methyl-4-methoxy-anthraquinone by the physico-chemcial characters andspectroscopic methods(1D,2DNMR,UV,EI-MS).This is a newcompound.
