In his academic career over 60 years, Hayek has constructed a large and sophisticated system of social theory of liberalism. However, Hayek’s complicated process of the construction of his theoretical system was based on his thinking on social problems of the times from beginning to end. As a confused thinker, around the general problem which was abstracted out from this era, Hayek has elucidated the basic liberal principles of social operation. Hayek’s social theory of liberalism has most common and general academic significance, which undoubtedly can surmount the ideological fence Hayek has hold, and give many inspirations to us.
