The subgenus Heterorius WAGNER and four representative species occurring in Japan and Taiwan are diagnosed and/or redescribed. Orius similis ZHENG is proposed as a junior synonym of strigicollis POPPIUS. Grills nagaii YASUNAGA is reported from the Continental Russian Far East and Korea for the first time. Illustrations of the male and female genitalia, the most important taxonomic characters, and notes on habitat of each species are provided.
