This paper presents some insights into Jordan's energy consumption in the rural residential sector. 18% of the country's total energy is consumed by the residential sector. The rural residential sector share is only 16% of the country's residential energy consumption. Kerosene and bottled LPG are the main sources of energy in the rural residential sector.
