摘要
The mechanochemical effect (the influence of plastic deformation on anodic polarization) was measured in static loading mode for type 316L stainless steel. It was shown that both passive and transpassive current densities reach a maximum in the course of growing plastic strain, confirming the prime role of strain hardening independently of surface film existence.
