Statistical geometry of hard sphere systems: exact relations for additive and non-additive mixtures

摘要
Extensions of various relations of statistical geometry previously derived for single component hard sphere systems are extended to multicomponent systems with both additive and nonadditive hard cores. These results are valid for both fluid and crystalline states. The results presented enable the concepts of statistical geometry to be applied to hard sphere mixtures and may prove useful in furthering our understanding of the complicated phase behaviours exhibited by such systems.
