摘要
Breaking into cells: A new family of peptides based on the amphiphatic proline-rich sequence (VXLPPP)n, where n=1-3 and X= His, Lys, or Arg, has been designed (see picture). Their nonviral origin, absence of toxicity at high concentrations, and high solubility in water makes this new series very promising for use in drug delivery.
