摘要：

Recently, Tan er iii. proposed an efficient smart card-oriented remote login authentication scheme. The scheme has several merits:(i) the user can freely choose his password; (ii) no verification tables are required: and (iii) the computation overhead is low. However, the authors show the insecurity of Tan-Zhu's scheme.
