Notes on the morphology of the horns of a new artiodactyl mammal from Cambodia: Pseudonovibos spiralis

摘要：

A new species of bovid was discovered recently in Vietnam and Cambodia. Al present, only the horns have been collected. A general description of the animal has been given by local hunters. The animal has been known since 1929 but was wrongly classified as an immature female kouprey (Bos sauveli). Information gathered so far is incomplete but the bovid has been named Pseudonovibos spiralis, Peter & Feiler, 1994a.
