Recoil-induced resonances of cesium atoms in the transient domain

摘要
We present an experimental and theoretical study of the recoil-induced resonances in the transient domain. We describe the time dependence of the atomic bunching in the optical potential. We show that:the usual line shape which is proportional to the derivative of the velocity distribution is only correct after some delay.
