摘要
The authors have developed a novel, simple chirped-grating based beamformer for time-steered array antennas. The beamformer is based on commercially available chirped fibre gratings and optical circulators and has a measured bandwidth of over 18GHz. The first-ever array demonstration achieves quasi-continuous 1D steering over 45 degrees.
