Imaging techniques for endovascular technology are changing almost as fast as endovascular procedures. CT scanning and angiography now are supplemented or replaced by MR angiography, three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction of CT or MR angiography data, and intravascular ultrasound. This article focuses on the new imaging techniques for endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, with an emphasis on 3D reconstruction technology.
