摘要
Christopher Alexander is an architect who invented the term ''pattern'' for use in building towns, homes, and offices. Kerth and Cunning-ham show how concepts in patterns and architecture for building may be applied in software. They explore the relationship between objects and architecture and propose that Alexander's concept of a ''pattern language'' can be used to fill the gap between the two-especially as project size increases.
