摘要
In this study, GNRs (gold nanorods) were used to enhance the sensitivity of the biosensor for Escherichia coli O157:H7 in Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) system. GNRs were designed and fabricated through seed-medicated growth and Surface activation by alkanethiols for the attaching antibody. Antibodies for E coli O157:H7 were immobilized on GNRs and measured by using UV-visible spectroscopy and sandwich assays were carried out to detect E. coli O157:H7 using Spreeta. This experiment is expected to play a key role in increasing sensitivity in other biosensor experiments and photothermal therapy. (C) 2009 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
