摘要
High-order rainbows, formed by a pendant drop, with an order number as high as 32 have been observed, to our knowledge, for the first time. We measured the refractive index of distilled-water drops, with an accuracy of similar to 2 parts in 10(4), by exploiting some of the high-order rainbows. (C) 1996 Optical Society of America
