摘要
In this manuscript, we report the first successful epitaxial growth of ZnO nanowires on ZnS nanobelts via the metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) method. The compositional and structural analyses show that the product consists of wurtzite-structured ZnS/ZnO nanobelt/nanowire heterostructures, which have an epitaxial relationship with identical orientation along the (100) and (002) planes, respectively. Single crystallinity, the same orientation between the ZnS and ZnO, and a short growth time make the new epitaxial growth method with the pre-prepared nanostructures as substrates appropriate for the construction and investigation of one-dimensional heterostructures.
