摘要：
Researchers and doctors in Turkey have been honest and open about the spread of the avian influenza virus, in an effort to prevent a pandemic. The Turkish government has welcomed infection control suggestions from the WHO including a serosurvey which detects antibodies to the virus in patient family members and poultry workers.
