摘要
The regiospecific hydrosilylation of the star-shaped hexa-olefin [C-6(CH2CH2CHCH2)(6)] with [FcSiMe(2)H] (Fc = ferrocenyl) is catalyzed by the Karstedt catalyst, giving the hexaferrocene complex [C-6{(CH2)(4)SiMe(2)Fc}(6)], which was purified by chromatography and characterized by its molecular peak in the MALDI TOF mass spectrum, whereas the same reaction with the new silane [FeCp(eta(6)-C6Me5CH2SiMe2H)][PF6] gives the desilylenation product [FeCp(eta(6)-C6Me6)][PF6].
