Solvothermal-reduction route to nanocrystalline α- and β-NiS

摘要
Nanocrystalline alpha-NiS and beta-NiS were synthesized through a solvothermal reducing process at 110 degreesC with ethanol and pyridine as solvent, respectively. X-ray diffraction (XRD), inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectra (ICP-AES) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) were used to characterize the samples. In this reaction, due to the different properties of the solvents, solvent determines the phases of as-prepared NiS. And it was found that the as-prepared alpha-NiS had higher phase stability than the normal NiS. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science BN. All rights reserved.
