On the critical radius in ostwald ripening

摘要
A short proof is given that the relation ac = aN is a direct consequence of the growth rule used in the LSW theory combined with the mass balance. Hence, this relation is independent of the actual form of the size distribution and is also valid even before the limiting distribution and the long time limit have been attained.
