摘要
The integration of renewable energy systems into the electric grid creates several technical challenges. To investigate the impact of renewable energy injection into the electric network, it is necessary to examine the static and dynamic behavior of power systems. These studies are important to ensure the system stability and secure operation of the electric network under fault disturbance. Steady state and dynamic analysis configurations are proposed in this paper to analyze the Moroccan southern transmission network. They focus on the impact induced by any power unit added to the power system through power flow calculation and transient stability. The objective of the performed steady state analysis is to calculate the load flow on the transmission lines, transformers and the voltage profile of system buses. The dynamic stability study is conducted to determine the power system behavior when a three-phase fault is applied, at critical connection points of distributed generators, to the grid. In addition, this work identifies the critical fault clearing time of various power stations. The aforementioned studies are conducted using PSS (R) E software simulation tool of Siemens PTI.
