Fast simulation technique for power electronic circuits with widely different time constants

摘要
A technique for the fast simulation of transients is presented. The method combines the advantages of state-space averaging, decoupled simulation, and envelope following. It is shown that simulation time can be reduced by a factor between 3 and 10(5), depending on the example, without significant reduction of accuracy.
