On RZn(1.5)X(0.5) intermetallic compounds (R equals rare earth, X equals germanium, tin)

摘要
Several phases with compositions RZn(1.5)X(0.5) formed by combining different rare earth metals (R) with Zn and Ge (or Sn) have been studied. Their crystal structures proved to be related to the hP3 AlB2 and hP6 CaIn2 types. The data obtained have been compared with those reported in literature relevant to many ternary phases of similar composition and used to plot a structure stability map.
