摘要
Impedance spectroscopy has been applied to the in situ characterization of a supported liquid membrane (SLM). This technique enables a non-invasive continuous monitoring of the behavior of the SLM during transport processes. The SLM achieves the maximum permeability coefficient after 15-20 h of experiment. Afterwards, this coefficient decreases strongly with a corresponding increase of the admittance of the system. This effect has been explained in terms of the instability of the SLM due to the loss of its constituents.
