Kinetics of the reaction of CF3O2 radicals with O(P-3) atoms

摘要
A discharge fast-flow tube equipped with laser-induced fluorescence detection for NO2, produced from the titration of CF3O2 with NO, and chemiluminescence detection for O(P-3), was employed to determine the rate constant for the reaction CF3O2 + O(P-3) --> products, at T = 296 +/- 1 K and P = ca. 2 Torr. The rate constant was found to be (6.3 +/- 1.0) x 10(-11) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1). Some implications of the results for atmospheric chemistry are discussed.
