Ultrasonic sol-gel synthesis of Ag2V4O11 from V2O5 gel

摘要
The synthesis of Ag2V4O11 from V 2O5 with the help of a ultrasonic sol-gel synthesis (USGS) method was discussed. The process was investigated using transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD). The Ag2V 4O11 that were obtained with this method exhibited different degrees of crystallinity. Electrochemical tests also showed that the compound that was obtained at a lower temperature had a higher specific capacity than its higher temperature counterpart.
