Who is the psychosocial rehabilitation worker?

There is little information about the characteristics of the psychosocial rehabilitation (PSR) workforce and how these characteristics affect job behaviors, motivations to enter the field, job satisfaction burnout and turnover intentions It is essential to understand these characteristics because of the impact the PSR worker has on both client care and agency finances. The purpose of this paper is to address these deficits and report the results of a multipart study of the PSR workforce; each having a different scope and purpose. The paper examines the results of the second and largest survey a nationwide survey of PSR workers.
