摘要：

Friedel-Crafts acylation of anisole has been carried out using Envirocat EPICR as a novel heterogenous catalyst and benzoic acids under reflux condition. This method is suitable for regioselective acylation of activated aromatics with benzoic acids having electron-donating substituents.
