摘要
The importance of interfaces for preparation, stability and performance of electroceramics is highlighted Homo- (grain boundaries) and heterojunctions (internal phase boundaries, surfaces) are discussed in tel ms of their thermodynamic and kinetic influence on transport and reactivity. Special consideration is devoted to the treatment of space charge effects in the core-space-charge-model and the superposition of different pathways. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Limited.
