摘要：

We report that Individuals carrying the CCR5 Delta 32 mutation, a naturally occurring variant of the C-C chemokine receptor 5 (CCR5), are at reduced risk of developing asthma, These data suggest a possible explanation for the high prevalence of this mutation in the general population.
