摘要
CT scanning has proven to be effective in showing the presence and localization of a cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) fistula and has gradually replaced radionuclide cisternography in many institutions. However, in presence of intermittent CSF leak, the isotopic method has greater advantages when performed over a long period of time. The authors report a patient with recurrent meningococcal meningitis of unknown origin, which finally was shown to be due to CSF leakage to the left maxillary bone.
