Optical study and vibrational analysis of the poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDT)

摘要
We carried out the study of the 3,3-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDT) and its electrochemically synthesized polymer by means of Raman and UV-vis-NIR absorption spectroscopies. We also studied the doping-dedoping process of PEDT with these methods. An assignment of the Raman lines was attempted for both monomer and polymer, and dynamical calculations have been performed to obtain characteristic valence-force-field of these compounds.
