摘要
The contribution of the quadrupole polarizability C to the long-range polarizability of two interacting isotropic molecules is specified. Its role is seen to be important for the intensity of the polarized component of collision-induced light scattering by inert gas atoms. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
