摘要
High potential: High-resolution transgene expression in two biological applications demonstrates the potential of a photoactivated gene-expression technique. Irradiation of one half of a transgenic tobacco leaf produced a sharp boundary of reporter gene expression between photoactivated tissue and nonirradiated tissue (see picture). This method was established by synthesis of a photosensitive doxycycline analogue. (Figure Presented) © 2006 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
