Conventional versus microwave synthesis of phthalocyanine material

摘要
The effectiveness of synthesizing CuPc from phthalic anhydride and urea was experimentally studied. It was found that microwave power does have an effect on the heating behavior of reactant. This microwave process proved to be quite effective due to its intense internal heating, compared to conventional thermal process, for the synthesis of CuPc from phthalic anhydride and urea.
