摘要
The authors present 40Gbit/s all-optical wavelength conversion experiments using crossgain modulation in hulk type semiconductor optical amplifiers specially designed for high speed operation. Polarisation-independent conversion is demonstrated with 9dB extinction ratio and 30dB (BW = 1 nm) signal-to-ASE ratio for the converted signal.
