摘要
Virtual Reality (VR) involves computer-based generation of 3D visual, auditory, and tactile environments, and a set of interface tools that allows users to immerse, navigate, and interact with objects in the computer-generated environment. These tools are developing rapidly, in the scientific, engineering, and medical areas. Today, although a number of potential applications to VR input devices are already available, many technological challenges must be met before such devices can be made available for patient care.
