Broadband dispersion-compensating chirped fibre Bragg gratings in a 10Gbit/s NRZ 110km non-dispersion-shifted fibre link operating at 1.55 mu m

摘要
Dispersion compensation of a 110km non-dispersion shifted fibre link over a 4nm bandwidth is demonstrated using two continuous glitch-free 36cm long chirped fibre gratings. A 10 Gbits system trial shows that compensation of lasers with large wavelength tolerance is possible.
