New conductive adhesive based on poly(3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene)

摘要
A new conductive adhesive epoxy system based on poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDT) has been formulated and characterized. The bulk resistivity of this system (1 ohm.cm) exceeds antistatic range (10(3) to 10(8) ohm.cm) obtained with polyaniline-filled epoxy system. The threshold percolation was obtained with a PEDT concentration of 55 % w/w. Thermal ageing studies show that the conductive adhesive exhibits a good electrical stability up to 120 degrees C under dry atmosphere and up to 60 degrees C under humid atmosphere (40% moisture content).
