摘要：

This work reports on a phase-controlled approach to nickel nitrate hydroxide solid microsphere. This novel weakly ferromagnetic sphere is constructed by nanoparticles as a consequence of the reactions between ethanol and the nitrate species. This sphere is also proved to show distinct morphology-inheriting feature as to the formation of beta-Ni(OH)(2) or NiO that has potential applications in electrochemical cells and gas sensors.
