摘要
We study current fluctuations in a single tunnel junction. The effect of external leads and of the Coulomb interaction is incorporated in the calculation. We obtain the fluctuations at the tunneling barrier of the junction and at the leads. It is shown that the two fluctuations have different noise spectra, and that the relation between them is nontrivial. The origin of the difference is discussed and the results are compared with recent experiments.
