摘要
Catalytic oxidation of 1,2-dichlorobenzene (1,2-PhCl2) (667 ppm) in wet air was investigated over protonic zeolites (HFAU, HBEA, HMFI, HMCM22 and ITQ2) and their corresponding Pt samples. Protonic zeolites are active to oxidize 1,2-PhCl2 in the range of 350-400 degrees C. The presence of Bronsted acid sites on zeolite favors the degradation of 1,2-PhCl2. Furthermore, the presence of micropores through a confinement effect certainly participates to the increase of catalyst activity. Finally, addition of platinum increases activity of zeolites but also favors by-products formation such as polychlorinated compounds like 1,2,4-PhCl3 isomers. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V.
