摘要
A disagreement between two determinations of Gamma(a) of the astrophysically relevant level at E-x = 4.378 MeV in F-19 has been stated in two recent papers by Wilmes et al. and de Oliveira et al. In this work the uncertainties of both papers are discussed in detail, and we adopt the value Gamma(a) = (1.5(-0.8)(+1.5)) x 10(-9) eV for the 4.378 MeV state. In addition, the validity and the uncertainties of the usual approximations for mirror nuclei Gamma(gamma)(F-19)approximate to Gamma(gamma)(Ne-19), theta(alpha)(2)(F-19)approximate to theta(alpha)(2)(Ne-19) are discussed, together with the resulting uncertainties on the resonance strengths in Ne-19 and on the O-15(alpha, gamma)Ne-19 rate.
