摘要
Two patients presented with severe injuries to the left index finger (amputation and partial amputation of the distal phalanx, together with partial degloving). These injuries were successfully treated with free thenar flaps over 40 mm long. In both cases, the superficial palmar branch of the radial artery originated in its usual position and branched normally and could be anastomosed to the digital artery. Both patients have recovered well.
