Low-scale technicolor at the Tevatron

In multiscale models of walking technicolor, relatively light color-singlet technipions are produced in q (q) over bar annihilation in association with longitudinal W and Z bosons and with each other. The technipions decay as pi(T)(0) --> b (b) over bar and pi(T)(+) --> c (b) over bar. Their production rates are resonantly enhanced by isovector technirho vector mesons with mass M(W) + M pi(T) less than or similar to M(rho T) less than or similar to 2M(pi T). At the Tevatron, these associated production rates are 1-10 picobams for M(pi T) similar or equal to 100 GeV. Such a low mass technipion requires topcolor-assisted technicolor to suppress the decay t --> M(pi T)(+). Searches for pi(T) pi(T) production will also be rewarding. Sizable rates are expected if M(rho T) greater than or similar to 2M(pi T) + 10 GeV. The isoscalar omega(T) is nearly degenerate with rho(T) and is expected to be produced at roughly the same rate. The omega(T) should have the distinctive decay modes omega(T) --> gamma(pi)T(0) and Z pi(T)(0).
