摘要：

This paper will study the mobile agent based realization of the Virtual Home Environment concept in an UMTS environment. The VHE concept will enable users to get access to their communication environment including subscribed services and profiles independent of the service provider they are using currently. This makes new concepts for service subscription and service configuration procedures necessary. Mobile agents could help to fulfil these tasks. Therefore a special emphasis will be on the mobile agent based realization of subscription and service configuration concepts. Finally, a mobile service for call control handling will be introduced which uses the previously introduced concepts. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
