A new video interpolation technique based on motion-adaptive subsampling

摘要
In video data transmission, a subsampling technique is used to reduce the number of transmitted frames. This paper presents a new technique to improve the performance of video interpolation by controlling the subsampling rate of a video sequence. Subsampling is determined by motion complexity of a frame. In the simulation results, we find that the picture quality fluctuation is reduced.
