摘要：

Power quality is a term used today in describing an aspect of the electricity supply. A power quality problem is any occurrence manifested in voltage, current, or frequency deviations resulting in failure or misoperation of electronic equipment. This problem is now only beginning to attract interest. Today, electric utilities cannot implement better services until they have determined existing levels of power quality. In view of this, wide-scale power-quality monitoring projects are being carried out to redefine electric power reliability.
