摘要
The aim of the paper is to try to predict the impact behaviour of plain and stiffened thin CFRP panels, Dropweight impact tests have been conducted on plain and T-stiffened CFRP panels of up to 300 mm diameter. Based on theoretical analysis and experimental observations a lumped parameter spring-mass-damper model has been developed. The non-linear model is able to predict the impact behaviour of plain panels up to penetration, and can be extended to stiffened panels. The dynamic response of plain and stiffened panels containing impact damage can also be predicted The model confirms that tests on standard 100 mm diameter laboratory coupons alone cannot be used to predict the impact response of large CFRP panels.
